Mikey Burton

Designing Midwesterny

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

Knowlton Hall | The Ohio State University

Design is like a garage sale for Mikey Burton. His self-described "Midwesterny" aesthetic compels him to rummage through the rusty and ragged artifacts of our recent tech and print past in search of unlikely treasures.

A graduate of Kent State with a passion for letterpress, Burton co-founded design and branding firm Little Jacket, whose clients have included Sundance Channel, the Cleveland RTA, and the bands Wilco and Spoon. He's received awards from Communication Arts, Print, HOW, CMYK and Logo Lounge. Now with 160over90 in Philadelphia, Burton journeys back into the heartland January 21 to warm Ohio State's Knowlton Hall with his wit and insight.
