Lowcountry cooking—High-powered creativity

Proud CCAD alum and now the toast of Charleston, South Carolina, Jay Fletcher has been serving up awesomeness
in graphic design, illustration, art direction, brand and logo design for more than a decade.

Describing design as “aesthetic sociology,” he maintains it’s the key ingredient to connect with your audience and let them know who you are. Like a smile between two people meeting for the first time, good design is the chemistry that launches a relationship between brand and customer. And Fletcher’s designs have caught more than a few eyes—earning him write-ups in Communication Arts and Print magazines, as well as the opportunity to design Smirnoff vodka’s 2014 limited-edition “beach” bottles.

Join us on August 17 as Jay discusses his experience turning an after-hours side gig into an exciting startup and, with a cast of pleased clients, cooking up a full-time adventure!
