Planning NEXT is a leading community visioning and planning firm located in Columbus, Ohio. Our tight-knit and fast-paced office is seeking a supportive and energetic team member to join our national practice.
We are seeking a graphic designer (2-4 years of experience) to assist our firm with a variety of graphic design needs including project graphic design support (document templates, logos, print media, posters, etc.) as well as graphic design support as it relates to marketing (such as proposal development, website design, and other marketing needs).
Quality visual communication is essential to our work, and we are looking for an individual who is passionate about graphic communication, a quick learner, and a supportive team member. We need someone who has:
- Graphic design and visual communication knowledge and experience;
- Great aptitude for task management;
- At least two years of professional graphic design experience;
- A Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, graphic design, marketing or related field;
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite;
- Proficiency in MS Office software, and
- Proficiency in WordPress.
This position is flexible (targeting 30-40 hours per week) to start. There is potential for this to move into a full-time salaried position depending on office needs and skill and aptitude of selected individual. This position could be partially remote, but it is expected that the successful candidate will spend at least three days per week in person in our office in Columbus, Ohio. Salary range is 45k to 55k, based on experience. Hourly rate could be considered.
