Bruce Rooke is an advertising veteran and a visionary in the creative field. Bruce received his BA in English from the University of Michigan and has since built his career as writer-turned-creative director: part raconteur, part provocateur, part entrepreneur.

Bruce’s modus operandi is to ask “What Could We Do?” versus “What Do We Have To Do?” in order to drive bigger, more compelling ideas. Currently, Bruce is Director at pufferfish, LLP (his own folly.) Bruce has also served as Global Creative Officer and Innovation Lead at GSW Worldwide and Fingerpaint for nearly 17 years, managing accounts such as Genentech, Lilly, and Biogen, and prior that, operated as a Worldwide Creative Director for J. Walter Thompson, managing major accounts including Ford, Goodyear, Shell, Bosch, White Castle, and more. In 2011, he was awarded the first-ever “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the CLIO Healthcare Awards for his talents and portfolio.

Join us on Thursday, August 20 when Bruce will wax poetic on “Where Ideas Hide.”
