Event Information

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day routine. Then one morning you look up and realize you’ve started to lose sight of what you really enjoy: the act of creating.

Personal projects have always been important to Simone. They’ve been significant in her personal and professional development, catching the eyes of clients and studios as she has grown and pushed herself. Working full-time as an art director and as a freelance editorial illustrator on nights and weekends, Simone began to miss that form of play, and returned to daily practice.

Her experience proved that what might seem like a simple daily routine could be just the thing that pulls you back when you need it most. If you just focus on the little steps, you’ll make it to the end—and then keep going.

Simone Noronha is a New York-based illustrator & art director.

She’s worked with Google’s Creative Lab, Buck, Franklyn, Tumblr, Ustwo, Delicious Design League & DressCode.

Clients include The New York Times, Google, Pitchfork Media, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, Starbucks, Adobe, Lucky Peach Magazine, TokyoBike, Los Angeles Magazine, CreativeMornings.
