WE’RE SEEKING AN ACCOUNT DIRECTOR W/STRONG PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS TO JOIN OUR COLUMBUS TEAM!

The role will be responsible for stewarding our local and national accounts. We need an insightful storyteller, capable of tackling business challenges from many angles while inspiring their teams to do the same. This role works closely with creative leadership to set clients up for success. The work ranges from digital and websites to environmental, print, video and branding identity systems. The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with clients in order to understand their objectives as well as maintaining project management skills. This candidate will be able to provide creative solutions and deliver these solutions using strong presentation skills. This person will foster Holden Ellis’ relationship with numerous clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget, while also working closely with clients to anticipate future needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Uncover client’s needs, desires and objectives and craft a creative solution that aligns with these needs
  • Clearly communicate client’s objectives with colleagues and drive development of timely solution
  • Provide strategic analysis to help shape client’s business
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic deliverables for the future of the brand, and be able to identify great creative ideas in their infancy.
  • Manage and mentor junior level talent
  • Manage timelines and deliverables with our Project Coordinator
  • Work w/agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget
  • Handle budgets, manage campaign costs and invoicing clients.
  • Write client reports
  • Work with vendors in estimate procurement, and creative handoffs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area required
  • 7-10 years of experience in account management/client services roles — agency experience a plus
  • Ability to grow accounts and build client relationships
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in managing people and teams
  • Extreme customer focus
  • Possess a creative mindset
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, handle deadlines, coordinate key timelines and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Exhibits emotional intelligence and can adapt to working with various personalities
  • Results driven and capable of working independently
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organization skills and maintain that standard of excellence and consistency across your team
  • Has demonstrated experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise and you are absolutely reliable and trustworthy
  • Can lead client meetings, staff planning and keep all parties on task, on time and on budget
  • Can empower others, driving team to success
  • Able to forecast and mitigate issues/challenges effectively
  • A big thinker: see the big picture, and constantly be optimizing process

Holden Ellis has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday + Friday.
