The Front End Web Developer role is a position within our Website and Brand Design Team. This position reports to the Lead Web Developer and manages all aspects related to our clients websites including project management, design, development, optimization, brand consistency, user experience, content management, segmentation, mobile responsiveness, search engine optimization, and analytics.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, manage, and monitor client websites
  • Update web pages, links, images, and other assets on a regular basis via WordPress
  • Manage and maintain website design and optimization display for all files and content
  • Improve user experience of the websites regularly using best practices and tools
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices and monitor competitor websites
  • Respond to reports of website problems and troubleshoot and resolve all website issues
  • Ensure website quality and performance by conducting regular updates and testing
  • Ensure client websites are in full compliance with all laws and regulations
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and visual accessibility for all web content
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and WordPress updates to achieve performance optimization
  • Respond to client update requests, comments, and questions in a prompt manner
  • Meet with clients to discuss website design and functionality
  • Design website mockups using Adobe XD based on brand identity and client content requirements
  • Collaborate with the web team, hosting company, and third-party plugin developers to ensure that websites are functioning correctly and securely
  • Evaluating code to ensure it meets YLB web development standards
  • Manages time and requests effectively to stay within scope and timeline of projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • 5+ years in website management, design, and development
  • Experience leading (5+) website design/development projects
  • Experience leading design presentation meetings and collecting feedback
  • Experience with content management systems (WordPress) and W3C Web standards
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, responsive design and development, cross-browser and cross platform compatibility
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, and Lighthouse
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator), Microsoft office, and GoogleDocs
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX design
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing software and platforms
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices
  • Strong communication (phone, email, chat), collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Strong project management skills including client communications and project timelines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, fantastic time management skills, and the ability to multitask.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
