Marketing coordinators are expected to be organized individuals with fantastic communication skills and excellent time management. Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assist with marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Support the marketing and design teams by coordinating, editing and collating content.
  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
  • Attend and complete any required events or training as needed.
  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.
  • Planning and managing events, RFPs and meetings by identifying, coordinating and assembling requirements and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and establishing contacts.
  • Provide reporting and research.
  • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
  • Manage all internal communication systems and online diversity accounts.
  • Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues.
  • Organize, file, manage mailing lists, general admin duties and assist where needed.
  • Collaborate with print contractors and other promotional vendors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:

  • Associates degree in marketing/communications or related (essential).
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving, team player and research proficiencies.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Excel databases.
  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
  • Solid organizational skills, grammar and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative mind with great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and WordPress editing.
  • Must have their own transportation.
