The Marketing Project Manager is an essential member of the Wexner Center for the Arts’s Marketing and Communications team. Responsible for project management, scheduling and coordination for print publications, digital assets, marketing campaigns, and other projects. Acts as the “front door” for project requests and inquiries. This role coordinates project planning, resources, budgeting, and progress reporting throughout the duration of the project work. They serve as the liaison between the marketing teams and collaborating departments, ensuring projects remain on time, on budget, in process, and of high quality.

This role will also monitor the project status and make recommendations and offer guidance for schedules, cost, resources, and consequences for missed deadlines. Responsible for the processing of all of the department’s fiscal transactions, the Marketing Project Manager tracks and reconciles the department’s budget. S/he will ensure project budgets (overall departmental budget is the CCO’s responsibility) remain steady and monitored accurately, reporting their findings back to the COO and M/C team. This role is also the department’s primary contact for maintaining our contact lists, mailing lists, and databases and will work with the digital editor to pull targeted, appropriate mailing lists for both email and direct mail campaigns.

55% Serves as project manager for all M/C projects and produced pieces. Manages project scheduling and coordination, including production and project timelines for print pieces, digital assets, marketing campaigns, and other projects. Serves as a project liaison between collaborating departments

30% Handles payments and processing of invoices

10% Primary liaison on maintaining contact lists, mailing lists, marketing databases. Also serves as a member of WCA data team

5% Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in program planning and project coordination is required.
  • Successful completion of a background check required.
  • Experience in project management software (Wexner Center for the Arts uses Asana).
