They can juggle several projects, clients, and teammates while being capable of managing various—sometimes conflicting—priorities with constantly evolving requirements. We value our relationships, and our Senior Account Manager will excel as the main point of contact between clients and the team, intuitively knowing when a perfectly crafted email is ideal versus when to pick up the phone or meet in person. A natural leader, this team member must be comfortable quarterbacking all deliverables, deadlines, bringing order to chaos, and balancing client and team needs.

 

Professional Qualifications

  • 4-year degree
  • 4–6 years agency experience is required
  • 3–5 years of digital experience managing complex solutions, products, and experiences is required
  • Knowledge and background in creative and digital services required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly thorough required
  • Proven experience managing and growing client relationships and projects required
  • Strong ability to think strategically, listen, and communicate efficiently internally and externally required
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, make difficult decisions, influence others and manage change preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates and nurtures meaningful client relationships
  • Identifies future needs where ZoCo can add value to clients’ businesses
  • Assists with business development by crafting project briefs, proposals, presentations, and statements of work
  • Collaborates on resource allocation of the team
  • Outlines, articulates, and manages all the aspects, processes, and deliverables of a project within the terms of a statement of work, and makes sure all projects are executed on time and to the highest standard
  • Manages all communication with the client from kickoff through the final delivery of the project
  • Interprets objectives and clearly communicates expectations to the client and team, thoroughly documenting all pertinent details, decisions, and responsibilities
  • Prepares and assists with leading internal team meetings, project kickoff meetings, strategy sessions, and status update meetings
  • Assists and reviews client presentations and deliverables
  • Regularly reports internally on the status of projects and new business opportunities, including escalation as needed
  • Manages partners, vendors, and expenses for the accounts they manage
  • Collaborates with accounting to ensure accurate and timely client billings
