A Columbus client of ours is looking for a knowledgeable Senior Content Creator to join their team in office.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
- National computer and electronics retailer
- Big company with a mid-sized feel; large and successful business without the corporate bureaucracy
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional shareholders to drive strategy and messaging
- Produce and edit excellent video/graphic content: product category/SKU videos, “How to” Videos, event videos, interview videos, etc., that will attract and engage our customers
- Lead and manage the relationships with subject matter experts to ensure accurate content by coaching individual contributors as they develop content
- Analyze and report on past content categories/strategies and social media trends to recommend opportunities for improvement; using key performance indicators
- Turn industry articles into engaging, strategic, and helpful creative content
- Seek and engage associates and customers for social media and website content
- Attend events and trade shows to conduct interviews and/or record industry professionals for content
- Has a background in computers and/or prior experience building personal computers
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in content creation
- Experience with graphic design and videography and video editing
- Expert graphic design skills with an eye towards maintaining brand standards
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Knowledgeable and passionate about consumer electronics
BONUS SKILLS:
- Ability to shoot high quality photos and videos
- Experience with video production and editing
