Social Media Management (what’s important, what’s not)
We love to hate it.
We hate to love it.
Ah… social media.
Instagram is the place for scrolling through your imposter syndrome. LinkedIn is the place for scrolling through everyone else’s egos. As creative professionals, we have to engage with social media. It can be an important avenue for showing off our portfolio, engaging with fellow creatives, and finding new clients. Yet it’s so easy to get sucked into it and not in a healthy way.
What’s important for us to focus on with social media? What are things we need permission to completely ignore? What has worked for other creatives… and will it work for you too? How many emojis are too many emojis?
Come join us for the Morning Society, a monthly meet-up for Central Ohio creatives to learn from, inspire, and grow alongside each other. This month we’re covering all things social media. It’ll be a hoot of a time.
We’ll be at Wild Goose Creative on Wednesday, March 13th from 10:30 AM-12 PM.
Anna Hetzel will be guiding us through questions, helping us connect in small group discussions, and making sure we know where the coffee is.
Tickets range from $0 to $8.
Are you someone who feels comfier knowing the agenda? Here ya go:
- 10:30 AM – arrive and grab yourself a coffee or a tea and snag a seat
- 10:45 AM – Event kickoff, expectations, and a (very dumb) icebreaker question
- 10:55 AM – Small group breakouts with no more than 5 people per group. Anna will be providing questions to get the conversation flowing.
- 11:30 AM – Large group sharing
- 11:35 AM – Back to your small groups with new ideas to discuss from the large group share
- 11:50 AM – Wrap up and thank you!
- 12 PM – Bye bye and have a great rest of your Wednesday
Parking: You may park for free in the grass strip next to Wild Goose Creative, or in any of the lots around the 400 Square block (Lucas St., Rich St., & Town St.) Please do not park behind BrewDog.
