Sweet Dreams of Rhythm and Passion
Gateway Film Center
If you’ve been out and about in Columbus, you’ve come across Thom Lessner’s work! His branding and artwork characterize Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace and Hoof Hearted Brewery and Kitchen. Those zany beer cans and caricatures of famous icons? Yep, that’s Thom!
The self-taught artist moved to Philadelphia in the late 90’s for the skate scene where he developed his bold, wacky style. Along with solo exhibitions across the country, his work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Vice, and Thrasher. Thom’s impressive client list includes Obey, Snickers, Bon Appetit and Converse.
On April 21st, join the CSCA at the Gateway Film Center for a social hour and presentation, and gain some insight into Thom’s approach to storytelling and his perspective on art scenes and building community. He’ll also dive into his sources of inspiration and how he stays motivated.
After the presentation, Members are invited to join us for an exclusive Meet & Greet at Hoof Hearted! To become a member, visit cscarts.org/membership.
