John English is an acclaimed illustrator, painter, and educator. Growing up, he was surrounded by some of New York’s most talented illustrators, which inspired his passion to create. In 1995, John founded The Illustration Academy, where he continues to provide a hands-on approach to learning advanced drawing skills, enhancing the creative process, and broadening the comprehension of visual arts. Over the past 25 years, John has developed some of the most progressive and successful art education programs in the US. The Academy is also responsible for developing the careers of many of the most successful illustrators working in the industry today.

John has been recognized with numerous awards from organizations, including New York Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Graphis, and Print Magazine.
